Various Tram Line Upgrades

Marcon Civil have completed various tram upgrades for Yarra Trams, an ongoing project for over ten years. The Tram Track Line upgrades have played a critical role in improving the local road network and enhancing tram connectivity into the Melbourne CBD.

Many tram tracks were over 50 years old and were both noisy and inefficient. The completed upgrades have created a smoother road surface, reduced tram noise, and provided safe pedestrian crossings at intersections.

Marcon Civil allocated multiple crews to meet the project timeline efficiently and to stay on schedules.
